Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej or now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first gymnast to earn a 10. an Olympic competition. Bela Karalyi came across Comaneci when she was six. She would later become Romania's gymnastics coach. She competed in the Romanian Junior Championships and finished 13th. She was awarded the championship in 1970. At her first international event in 1972, a pre-Olympic junior meet for the communist-bloc countries she won three gold medals. Then in 1973 and 1974, she was an the all-around junior champion. She took home four gold medals and one silver medals in her senior debut international competition which took place in the year 1975. It was the first time she participated as an adult. In 1976, she was the first female athlete in the world to utilize a reversed double salto to dismount from parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her career in the entertainment business began during her teens, when she began performing as a figure skater alongside her younger sibling Nina Wayne as part of the shows that traveled around known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne is a American citizen who was born on September 6 1942, in Chicago Illinois. Carol entered the entertainment industry in her teens. Her career began with her joining Nina Wayne to perform in Ice Capades, a traveling spectacle of entertainment. They featured dramatic skating on ice shows.
